Two Years!

It’s been two years since I launched The Glass Slipper Catalyst. I’ve tinkered around with blogs in the past (remember Xanga and Livejournal?), looooong before they became mainstream and almost mandatory for personal branding and networking.

I’ve often pondered going full-time with blogging and branding myself. I feel so much more comfortable communicating through photography and the written word. While I enjoy public speaking and talking to people to an extent, my niche lies with other communicative forms.  I’m starting to outline potential blog upgrades and a personal website that is essentially a resume/CV. As most of us that are job hunting 24/7 have discovered…traditional applications are stale and repetitive in a digital world. I find that it would be much easier to have ALL of my information in one spot so that potential employers (or blog readers such as you all πŸ™‚ ) can peruse at their own pace. I’ve done a LOT in the last ten years and it just can’t be summarized in one page.

I recognize that consistency is key. If you have suggestions for future blog posts or questions to answer, feel free to list them and I’ll give you credit for the idea!

Anyone that is a professional blogger/internet phenomenon, what advice would you give for someone who is thinking about going full-time with internet-related things?

  1. Have you ever thought of becoming a Beachbody coach? It sounds right up your alley. Fitness, running, health – and sharing your life journey via Facebook, Instagram, blogs, etc to help people lead a healthier life. If you’re interested I learning more, message or email me. I’d love to connect with you.
